Paid Sick Leave and Minimum Wage

NAPEO tracks and monitors any developments related to paid sick leave and minimum wage legislation and ordinances across the country to determine their effect on the PEO industry.

 

State Run Retirement Plans

As of 2017, eight states have enacted or are implementing some form of employment-based retirement legislation. As the bills move into the regulatory phase, and as other bills are introduced, NAPEO staff is engaged in ensuring that any final rules will not negatively impact PEOs or their clients.

NAPEO monitors and engages on tax issues that negatively impact not only PEOs, but also their clients including access to all applicable tax credits and tax deductions.
